As we explore Asian American Literature, we often find things that are not what we expect Asian American literature to be.  In our journey in Shawn Wong's novel American Knees, we came upon many exciting and new things about Asian American Literature.  Wong looks at hapa issues, gender roles and of course he uses sex to link it all.
